In the 2000s and beyond, Idol returned with new music and fresh energy. Albums like Devil’s Playground (2005) and Kings & Queens of the Underground (2014) reintroduced him to a new generation of fans. He continued releasing EPs, including The Roadside (2021) and The Cage (2022), proving his voice and attitude remain as strong as ever.
